Deadlines

• Entry forms are due by 1 Sept. 2008.
• Quilts drop off at Trinity Assembly’s new Royal Ranger Hall 15 Sept.  7:45 am – 7:00 pm 
• Pick-up time:  Sat.  5:00 pm - 6:00 pm at the displayed location

• Challenge Quilt  - 20” X 20”  ) Anniversary theme: Sunbonnet Sue - Past, Present, or Future
• Wall Hanging
• Bed Quilt completed 2005 or since (4” hanging sleeve required)
• Bed Quilt completed 2005 and before.  (4” sleeve is required to hang quilts).       

Quilts without sleeves are displayed on Methodist Church pews

Qualifications:

• Quilts must have 4" hanging sleeve - antiques quilts without sleeves will be displayed on pews at Algood Methodist church
• All entries must hang for duration of show.  Cannot be removed for any reason until designated pick up time.
• All entries must have name of maker (if known) if other than quilt owner. Please complete registration form for each quilt entered into show.
• All entries must be clean and made of fabric.  Soiled quilts will not be judged or displayed.
• No special handling or hanging requirements will be observed.

Challenge Quilt - Sunbonnet Sue

• Our 2008 Challenge Quilt theme and contest is all about 'Sunbonnet Sue’                      
• Past, Present or Future.
• A 20" x 20" finished wall hanging.
• Our challenge is for you to create an original design based on Sunbonnet Sue, depicting her in the Past, the Present, or in the Future (perhaps as a Southern Bell, on her cell phone, or on the moon).
•  For any ideas, check the sunbonnetsue.com website.
• Any technique in piecing and quilting is acceptable. 

Security

Your quilt’s safety and security are important to us.  Twenty-four hour security is provided.  Viewers will receive gloves as they enter sites.  Hostesses will be at all locations to watch the quilts. The Algood Senior Ctr., the Upper Cumberland Quilt show committee, nor any individual can be held responsible for theft, loss, or damage to your show entry.

Judging & Awards
