Can you improve the lighting for viewing the quilts?

Our wonderful sponsors donate the use of their facilities for this event and we cannot change the lighting in these facilities. Every effort is made to hang the quilts in the allotted space while using the lighting the best that we can.

Can another facility be used for the hanging quilts (main exhibit)?

When we look at whether a facility will be usable for the display, we must consider a number of things.  This is a partial list of considerations:

• no stairs or a handicapped entrance/exit.
• ceilings that will accommodate the frames used for hanging the quilts.
• enough space so that quilts will not obscure the available lighting
• adequate bathroom facilities
• the location must be centrally located in Algood
• whether the facility is available on the dates of the festival
• is there an area for registering people?
